Connect Google Sheets

Keep a list in Google Sheets? Connect it with a service account and import rows straight into Climails as contacts — no CSV exports each time.

4 min read

What you'll need

  • A Google Cloud service account (JSON key)
  • The spreadsheet ID, shared with the service account

Connect the sheet

  1. 1

    Create a service account

In Google Cloud, create a service account and download its JSON key. Share your spreadsheet with the service account's email.

  2. 2

    Open Integrations → Google Sheets

Paste the service account JSON and the spreadsheet ID (optionally a range).

  3. 3

    Sync rows

Run the sync to import the sheet's rows as contacts.

What syncs

  • Rows → contacts — each row becomes a contact, mapped from your columns.
  • On-demand — re-sync whenever the sheet changes to pull the latest rows.

Frequently asked questions

Why a service account instead of signing in?

A service account gives Climails secure, revocable access to just the sheet you share with it — no personal Google login involved.

Where's the spreadsheet ID?

It's the long ID in the sheet's URL between /d/ and /edit.
